Join other QFSHA members on Saturday, November 8 at Beechwood Elementary (Pierrefonds-Roxboro) for a half-day of learning, connection & inspiration. Open to all parents in Quebec’s English elementary & high schools!
Enjoy a light breakfast, full lunch, & engaging workshops on Managing Stress & Anxiety and Study Skills & Organization, presented by Épique Programs & Training. During the lunch hour, a presentation will be given on Discovering Alloprof: Simple Tools to Support Student Success.
Friday, September 26 we’ll be hosting the annual Corn Roast at Senior Campus, 5-8pm, spilling into Loyola Park. Join us for corn and games!
Get your game on: tug-of-war, sack races, and enough corn to make you question your life choices by cob #37. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic, blankets, and chairs to round out the feast. We’ll provide cold water (but no cups — so pack those trusty water bottles).
To pull this off without collapsing into the corn husks, we need volunteers! Sign up to help with setup, shucking, cooking, or take-down. Think of it as a gym workout, but with better snacks.
Becoming a Home & School member isn’t just a checkbox — it’s what keeps us running! We need at least 30% of Willingdon families signed up to stay under the umbrella of the QHFSA (Quebec Federation of Home & School Associations).
That membership gives us the ability to operate and provides the insurance coverage we need to run all our beloved events — from pizza days to the corn roast to the grand finale. Without it? No coverage, no events. 🙅♀️
While all parents are welcome to attend Home & School meetings, only members get to vote — so your voice really counts when you join.
When you join, you’re not just a member… you’re basically the superhero making all this magic possible. 🦸♀️🦸♂️
A massive shoutout to everyone who came out for the Grand Finale—whether you were chasing kids through the laser tag arena, getting repeatedly dunked in the dunk tank, or helping us herd the chaos with a smile.
Special thanks to our legendary BBQing Dads and the incredible food fulfillment team who kept the hot dogs coming and the lines moving like a well-oiled machine.
We couldn’t have pulled off this wild, wonderful end-of-year celebration without our amazing volunteers and families. You’re the real MVPs (Most Valuable Parents)!
